                                            [0] => This article is an excerpt from the reflections raised by the thesis entitled "Lankes's New Librarianship in the Brazilian context" and aims to present some contemporary perspectives that have transformed the way we theorize and practice contemporary Librarianship. It is configured as an exploratory and qualitative research and uses the identification of texts on contemporary Librarianship in the BRAPCI database for the constitution of the present text. We point out that Librarianship has been undergoing constant transformations in accordance with social and technological evolution. Thus, we can delineate three moments that mark the area's transformations: 1) at the beginning, in a perspective that can be called traditional, marked by a technical bias, by the accumulation of large collections and by the building; 2) in a second moment, we have a Librarianship focused on the access, availability and sharing of information; and, 3) the third moment, marks the contemporaneity, which privileges the use of the library space beyond the informational support, seeking a more participative, collaborative action and focused on learning and the construction of knowledge by the communities. Libraries in the current scenario, more than ever, must occupy their secular place as promoters of learning and the collective construction of knowledge.
                                            [1] => O presente artigo é um recorte das reflexões suscitadas pela tese intitulada "A Nova Biblioteconomia de Lankes no contexto brasileiro" e tem por finalidade apresentar algumas perspectivas contemporâneas que tem transformado a maneira como teorizamos e praticamos a Biblioteconomia contemporânea. Configura-se como uma pesquisa de cunho exploratório e qualitativo e utiliza a identificação de textos sobre a Biblioteconomia contemporânea na base de dados BRAPCI para a constituição do presente texto. Assinalamos que a Biblioteconomia vem passando por constantes transformações em conformidade com a evolução social e tecnológica. Assim, podemos delinear três momentos que marcam as transformações da área: 1) de início, numa perspectiva que pode ser denominada como tradicional, marcada pelo viés tecnicista, pelo acúmulo de grandes coleções e pelo edifício; 2) num segundo momento, temos uma Biblioteconomia voltada ao acesso, disponibilização e compartilhamento da informação; e, 3) o terceiro momento, marca a contemporaneidade, que privilegia a utilização do espaço da biblioteca para além do suporte informacional, buscando uma atuação mais participativa, colaborativa e voltada à aprendizagem e a construção do conhecimento pelas comunidades. As bibliotecas no cenário atual mais do que nunca devem ocupar o seu lugar secular de promotoras da aprendizagem e da construção coletiva do conhecimento.
