                    [0] => This paper aims to map libraries that use synchronous user care tools and to verify the tools used in synchronous user care. The study is characterized as exploratory and descriptive. The Portuguese and Brazilian universities defined as research field were identified, the universe to be researched was defined and the instrument for data collection and achievement of the proposed objective was designed. The data reflect a trend of use of the synchronous attendance in Brazil and Portugal. It is observed that in Brazil there is a higher incidence of synchronous service, compared to Portugal. It is also verified that the chat for online assistance, by means of the libraries´ websites is the most used means in both countries. It was verified that the percentages collected in the research reveal that the synchronous service, in real time, is not yet used by most Brazilian and Portuguese libraries. In Brazil, this type of service has been more adopted (41%) in comparison with Portugal (33%), but both are still contemplated by a minority of the university libraries of those countries.@en
                    [1] => Este artigo tem como objetivo mapear bibliotecas que utilizam ferramentas de atendimento síncrono aos usuários e verificar as ferramentas utilizadas no atendimento síncrono. O estudo caracteriza-se como exploratório e descritivo. Identificaram-se as universidades portuguesas e brasileiras definidas como campo de pesquisa, definiu-se o universo a ser pesquisado e desenhou-se o instrumento para recolha de dados e atingimento do objetivo proposto. Os dados refletem uma tendência de uso do atendimento síncrono no Brasil e em Portugal. Observa-se que no Brasil há uma maior incidência no atendimento síncrono, em comparação à Portugal. Verifica-se também que o chat para atendimento on-line, por meio dos websites das bibliotecas é o meio mais utilizado nos dois países. Verifica-se que os percentuais recolhidos na investigação revelam que o atendimento síncrono, em tempo real, ainda não é utilizado pela maioria das bibliotecas brasileiras e portuguesas. No Brasil, este tipo de atendimento tem sido mais adotado (41%), em comparação à Portugal (33%), mas ambos ainda são contemplados pela minoria das bibliotecas universitárias daqueles países.@pt
