                    [0] => The aim of this article is to identify possible contributions that arise from the interface between Information Science (IC) and learning mediated by Paulo Freire´s contributions. This is a theoretical study with thematic intersections between Information Science and Education. It is noteworthy that both have built fruitful interfaces, especially in the field of socialization of information, considering the fundamentals of Freire´s pedagogy, and that this mediation can bring significant contributions with the deepening of studies. As a research methodology, in addition to the bibliographical research of Paulo Freire´s books, we searched for authors who dialogued with the theme. In this process, we seek to analyze the conception of the educator and the information professional, who emerge from professional activity and propose, according to Paulo Freire´s theory, ways for professionals to recognize themselves and assume themselves as mediators, authors, self-employed and creators. It is concluded that there are many factors to be overcome, but, in light of Freire´s theory, they can be overcome through struggle, resistance, scientific competence, ethics, democracy, coherence and many other requirements that teaching requires.@en
                    [1] => O objetivo deste artigo identificar possíveis contribuições que nascem da interface entre a Ciência da Informação (CI) e a aprendizagem mediada pelas contribuições de Paulo Freire. Trata-se de um estudo teórico com intersecções temáticas entre a Ciência da informação e a Educação. Destaca-se que ambas tem construído interfaces fecundas, principalmente no campo da socialização da informação, considerando fundamentos da pedagogia freireana, e que essa mediação pode trazer contribuições significativas com o aprofundamento dos estudos. Como metodologia da pesquisa, além da pesquisa bibliográfica dos livros de Paulo Freire, buscamos por autores que dialogassem com a temática. Nesse processo, buscamos analisar a concepção do educador e do profissional da informação, que emerge de atividade profissional e propor, de acordo com a teoria de Paulo Freire, caminhos para que os (as) profissionais se reconheçam e se assumam como mediadores, autores, autônomos e criadores. Conclui-se que muitos são os fatores a serem superados, mas, que à luz da teoria de Freire, podem ser superados através de luta, resistência, competência científica, ética, democracia, coerência e tantos outros quesitos que o ensinar exige.@pt
