                    [0] => In the face of current technological advances, the adoption of e-books by university libraries is still a factor to be explored, once these ones do not exist or they are not available in their collections due to technical difficulties, whether they are access, financial or even due to lack of knowledge and fear regarding the formats offered by the Brazilian publishing market. Because of this, it was necessary a research to identify the points that guide the selection and adoption of this type of material, mainly because of the increasing of the collection and consequent ease of access by their users. Through bibliographic analysis, it was identified that, beyond being a topic with few studies developed in Brazil, most of these studies are still dealing with information, analysis and content based on experiences and applications in libraries outside the country. With such different realities among foreign countries and Brazil, essential points need to be raised, such as the use and access of technologies, besides the necessary investments  for the acquisition of material, training and qualification of the team to deal with these items and the consequent training of the user to be able to use this resource offered by the institution.@en
                    [1] => Frente ao avanço tecnológico atual, a adoção de e-books por bibliotecas universitárias ainda é um fator a ser explorado, pois estes nem sempre existem ou estão disponíveis em seus acervos por dificuldades técnicas, sejam elas de acesso, financeiras ou mesmo pelo desconhecimento e receio quanto aos formatos oferecidos pelo mercado editorial brasileiro. Por conta disto, se fez necessária a pesquisa para identificação dos pontos que norteiam a seleção e adoção deste tipo de material, principalmente quanto ao incremento da coleção e consequente facilidade de acesso pelos usuários que dela se utilizam. Por meio de análises bibliográficas, identificou-se que, para além de ser um tema com poucos estudos desenvolvidos no Brasil, a maioria destes ainda trata de informações, análises e conteúdos baseados em experiências e aplicações em bibliotecas de fora do país. Com realidades tão distintas entre países estrangeiros e o Brasil, levantam-se pontos primordiais como a utilização e acesso a tecnologias, além dos investimentos necessários tanto para aquisição de material, como em treinamento e capacitação da equipe para tratamento destes itens e o consequente treinamento do usuário para utilização de mais este recurso oferecido pela instituição.@pt
