This work objectives to discuss the conceptual models Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records (FRBR), Functional Requirements for Subject Authority Data (FRAD) and Functional Requirements for Subject Authority Data (FRSAD), illustrating them with the work of information search conducted by user of information in the sistem. Emphasize the importance of specific knowledge, without losing the overview of complementary. The theoretical and methodological approach is find by the theoretical search and conceptual of thematics discussed to analyze the facts available in the literature and discuss its practical applicability. We conclude that there is a happy and necessary integration between the thematic and descriptive representations that optimize the informational access, though descriptive representation is still considered by many as pure physical description in catalogs manuals.@en
                    [1] => Apresenta a importância da integração da representação temática e descritiva na recuperação da informação, revelando aspectos teóricos e práticos destas disciplinas e traçando relações entre as mesmas.  Teve como objetivo discorrer sobre os modelos conceituais Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records (FRBR), Functional Requirements for Subject Authority Data (FRAD) e Functional Requirements for Subject Authority Data (FRSAD), exemplificando-os com a busca da informação realizada pelo usuário em um sistema. Ressalta-se que o conhecimento específico de cada área deve prevalecer, porém sem se perder a visão de ambas como sendo complementares. A fundamentação teórico-metodológica encontra-se apoiada na pesquisa teórica e conceitual das temáticas debatidas para analisar os fatos disponíveis na literatura e discorrer sobre sua aplicabilidade. Conclui-se que existe uma feliz e necessária integração entre as representações temática e descritiva que otimizam o acesso informacional, embora a representação descritiva ainda seja considerada, por muitos, como sendo pura descrição física em catálogos manuais.@pt
