                    [0] => This article aims to reflect on the semantic challenges in the development and implementation of archival document classification plans, particularly focusing on synonymy and polysemy, both in theoretical and practical aspects of this function. The complexity of language becomes evident in the realm of document management, where the choice of terms and their interpretation can significantly impact the efficient organization and retrieval of information. When addressing synonymy, weexamine how seemingly interchangeable terms can contain distinct nuances, influencing the accuracy of document classification. A deep understanding of lexical semantics becomes imperative to mitigate ambiguities and ensure a cohesive taxonomy. Polysemy, in turn, introduces multiple meanings associated with a single word, expanding the possibilities of interpretation. We analyze how this multiplicity of meanings can affect consistency in the application of classification plans, emphasizing the importance of contextualization for an effective approach. Ultimately, this article proposes strategies to address the challenges posed by synonymy and polysemy in the creation and implementation of classification plans, aiming to strengthen efficiency in document management and the preservation of informational integrity.@en
                    [1] => Este artigo propõe refletir sobre os desafios semânticos na elaboração e implementação de planos de classificação de documentos arquivísticos, especialmente no que diz respeito à sinonímia e polissemia, tanto no aspecto teórico quanto prático dessa função. A complexidade da linguagem torna-se evidente na esfera da gestão documental, onde a escolha de termos e sua interpretação podem impactar significativamente a organização e recuperação eficientes de informações. Ao abordar a sinonímia, examinamos como termos aparentemente intercambiáveis podem conter nuances distintas, influenciando a precisão na classificação documental. A compreensão aprofundada da semântica lexical torna-se imperativa para mitigar ambiguidades e assegurar uma taxonomia coesa. A polissemia, por sua vez, introduz múltiplos significados associados a uma única palavra, ampliando as possibilidades de interpretação. Analisamos como essa multiplicidade de sentidos pode afetar a consistência na aplicação de planos de classificação, destacando a importância da contextualização para uma abordagem eficaz. Em última análise, este artigo propõe estratégias para enfrentar os desafios apresentados por sinonímia e polissemia na criação e implementação de planos de classificação, visando fortalecer a eficiência na gestão documental e preservação da integridade informacional.@pt
