                                            [0] => The aim of this research is to analyse the process of scientific institutionalization of Knowledge Management in Information Science in Brazil, based on the cognitive and social structures of Whitley's theory. Methodologically, it is characterized as exploratory and descriptive research, with a quantitative and qualitative approach, of the bibliographical and documentary type. It uses Content Analysis to systematize the categories into cognitive and social and to evaluate the current stage of the scientific institutionalization process of Knowledge Management. It also makes use, as an analysis procedure, of information metric studies based on bibliometrics, with citation analysis. In the results, it identifies the papers on knowledge management in twenty-one editions of the National Meeting of Research in Information Science to find out the recurrence of terminology, the core of authors representative of knowledge management and the theoretical foundations for the cognitive structure and, in the social structure, it identifies institutions, names of Programs in the area and their Lines of Research, Research Groups, Cooperation Network, Journals and Events focused on the theme. It concludes by confirming the thesis that Knowledge Management is in a process of evolution and maturity, with a high level of institutionalization in Information Science in Brazil, based on its cognitive and social structures.
                                            [1] => A pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar, a partir das estruturas cognitiva e social da teoria whitleyliana, o processo de institucionalização científica da Gestão do Conhecimento na Ciência da Informação no Brasil. Metodologicamente, se caracteriza como pesquisa exploratória e descritiva, de abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa, do tipo bibliográfica e documental. Adota a Análise Conteúdo para sistematizar as categorias em cognitiva e social e avaliar o atual estágio do processo institucionalização científica da Gestão do Conhecimento. Faz uso, também, como procedimento de análises, dos estudos métricos da informação a partir da bibliometria, com análise de citações. Nos resultados, identifica os trabalhos sobre gestão do conhecimento em vinte e uma edições do Encontro Nacional de Pesquisa em Ciência da Informação para conhecer a recorrência de terminologia, o núcleo de autores representativo da gestão do conhecimento e os fundamentos teóricos para a estrutura cognitiva e, na estrutura social, identifica instituições, denominações de Programas na área e suas Linhas de Pesquisa, Grupos de Pesquisa, Rede de Cooperação, Periódicos e Eventos com foco no tema. Conclui confirmando com a tese de que a Gestão do Conhecimento se encontra em processo de evolução e maturidade, com elevado nível de institucionalização na Ciência da Informação no Brasil, a partir de suas estruturas cognitiva e social.
