                    [0] => The Judiciary in the Brazilian State is in charge of administering laws and justice in society, with the prerogative of resolving conflicts whether by investigating, judging or punishing. The Federal Court is integrated with the Judiciary and analyzes the cases of Union bodies, local authorities and federal public companies, and in Paraíba, it was established in 1968. Therefore, this article aimed to report the archival activities carried out in the Cadastre and Registration Section Function of the Federal Court in Paraíba. Methodologically, we used qualitative, descriptive and bibliographical research, among other procedures, as archival practices were detailed in the Section above. The activities carried out in this locus of the Federal Justice in Paraíba were aimed at optimizing the functions of the body, identifying its gaps to suggest improvements in the archival activities of the aforementioned Section. Therefore, the experience in the Federal Court was fundamental for our professional training, understanding that the need for Archivology and archivists in public institutions is latent, as a way to improve skills in the area of archives.@en
                    [1] => O Poder Judiciário no Estado brasileiro está ao encargo de administrar as leis e a justiça na sociedade com a prerrogativa de resolver conflitos seja investigando, julgando ou punindo. A Justiça Federal se integra ao Judiciário e analisa os casos dos órgãos da União, das autarquias e das empresas públicas federais, e na Paraíba, foi instituída em 1968. Dessa forma, este artigo objetivou relatar as atividades arquivísticas realizadas na Seção de Cadastro e Registro Funcional da Justiça Federal na Paraíba. Metodologicamente, utilizamos de uma pesquisa qualitativa, descritiva e bibliográfica entre outros procedimentos, visto que foram esmiuçadas as práticas arquivísticas na Seção supra. As atividades desenvolvidas nesse lócus da Justiça Federal na Paraíba se deram no intuito de otimizar as funções do órgão, identificando seus pontos lacunosos para sugerir aperfeiçoamentos nas atividades arquivísticas da Seção citada. Logo, a experiência vivenciada na Justiça Federal foi fundamental para nossa formação profissional, compreendendo que é latente a necessidade da Arquivologia e dos arquivistas nas instituições públicas, como aprimoramento às habilidades na área dos arquivos.@pt
