                    [0] => Archive and memory have a close relationship, mainly with regard to preserved documentary records with informative and historical value. From the demand for the organization of the documentary collection of the HEMOCENTRO Coordinator unit, located in the capital of Paraíba, the extension project “HEMODOC: organization of the HEMOCENTRO of Paraíba Archive” emerged in 2019. In addition to the technical activities developed, this article aims to validate the HEMOCENTRO of Paraíba in the capital as a memory space. The approach adopted was qualitative; with regard to the data obtained, it was documentary, analyzed from the perspective of reading and textual/documentary interpretation, according to Orlandi. Based on the legislation and other documents studied, the role of HEMOCENTRO and its archive was evidenced as a place of memory for Hematology and Hemotherapy in Paraíba. It is concluded that in the institution´s archive, there are important information that are sources of evidence for the procedures carried out by its agents, therefore, its organization and its preservation are fundamental for the perpetuation of this institutional memory for the present and future generations.@en
                    [1] => Arquivo e memória possuem estreita relação, principalmente, no que tange aos registros documentais preservados e dotados de valor informativo e histórico. A partir da demanda da organização do acervo documental da unidade HEMOCENTRO Coordenador, situado na capital paraibana, surgiu em 2019 o projeto de extensão “HEMODOC: organização do Arquivo do HEMOCENTRO da Paraíba”. Para além das atividades técnicas desenvolvidas, esse artigo visa a convalidar o HEMOCENTRO da Paraíba da capital como espaço de memória. A abordagem adotada foi a qualitativa; no tocante aos dados obtidos foi documental, analisados à luz da perspectiva da leitura e da interpretação textual/documental, segundo Orlandi. A partir da legislação e dos demais documentos estudados, evidenciou-se o papel do HEMOCENTRO e do seu arquivo como lugar de memória da Hematologia e da Hemoterapia na Paraíba. Conclui-se que no arquivo da instituição, existem informações importantes que são fontes de prova para os procedimentos realizados por seus agentes, por isso, sua organização e sua preservação são fundamentais para a perpetuação dessa memória institucional para a atualidade e futuras gerações.@pt
