                                            [0] => This article intends to reflect on the role of Information Science in improving the quality of scientific production in the context of researchers’ development in Brazil. To aim this point, a documental research was carried out, using the applicable current legislation and a bibliographic research related to the theme. As a result, we highlight that although scientific production has grown considerably in Brazil in recent years, there is still much to be improved. Difficulties such as the application of technical norms, scientific rigor, and the elaboration of references identified in the literature. Other relevant points are the need to approach scientific research with its application for problem-solving situations of real problems and the approximation of post-graduation to previous levels of education. It concluded that Information Science could offer contents and tools, from information sources to references, which can help in the formation of researchers and, consequently, improve the quality of scientific production.
                                            [1] => O artigo pretende refletir sobre o papel da Ciência da Informação na melhoria da qualidade da produção científica no contexto de formação de pesquisadores no Brasil. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa documental utilizando a legislação vigente aplicável e uma pesquisa bibliográfica relacionada ao tema. Destaca-se, como resultado, que apesar da produção científica ter crescido consideravelmente no Brasil nos últimos anos, ainda há bastante a ser aprimorado. São identificadas na literatura dificuldades como a aplicação de normas técnicas, o rigor científico e a elaboração das referências. Outros pontos relevantes são a necessidade de aproximação das pesquisas científicas com sua aplicação na solução de problemas reais e a aproximação da pós-graduação aos níveis anteriores de ensino. Conclui-se que a Ciência da informação poderia oferecer conteúdo e ferramentas, desde fontes de informação às referências, que podem auxiliar na formação de pesquisadores de diversas áreas, visando a melhorar a qualidade a produção científica.
