                                            [0] => The objectives of this work are the description and analysis of a case study, carried out in an organization of the municipal public administration, in Brazil. It is inserted in the studies of Information and Knowledge Management, with emphasis on the transfer of explicit, tacit knowledge and respective organization, as contributory managerial instruments for increasing effectiveness. The approaches of the authors Sveiby (1998); Nonaka and Takeuchi (1997); Davenport and Prusak (1998) and Choo (1998) in the area substantiate the understanding of the organizational knowledge management process, referring to the effectiveness in use, the knowledge spiral and the organizational capacity distributed in knowledge networks, respectively. It shares innovative practices for public administration, which faces challenges to adapt to new realities, where the achievement of institutional purposes and results becomes an essential condition for the effectiveness of the services provided and the improvement of the citizens' quality of life. It ensured the continuity of the authority's duties, given the risk of leaving qualified professionals who had the priority knowledge to carry out the work processes of that organization.
                                            [1] => Os objetivos deste trabalho são a descrição e a análise de estudo de caso, realizado em uma organização da administração pública municipal, no Brasil. Insere-se nos estudos da Gestão da Informação e do Conhecimento, com destaque para a transferência dos conhecimentos explícitos, tácitos e respectiva organização, como instrumentos gerenciais contributivos para a elevação da efetividade. As abordagens dos autores Sveiby (1998); Nona- ka e Takeuchi (1997); Davenport e Prusak (1998) e de Choo (1998) na área substanciam a compreensão do processo de gestão do conhecimento organizacional, referente à eficácia na utilização, a espiral do conhecimento e à capacidade organizacional distribuída em redes de conhecimentos, respectivamente. Compartilha práticas inovadoras para a administração pública, que enfrenta desafios para se adaptar às novas realidades, onde o alcance dos propósitos e dos resultados institucionais torna-se condição essencial para efetividade dos serviços prestados e melhoria da qualidade de vida dos cidadãos. Assegurou a continuidade das atribuições da autarquia, diante do risco da saída dos profissionais qualificados que detinham os conhecimentos prioritários para a realização dos processos de trabalhos da referida organização.
