                                            [0] => Open scientific practices are constituted by a series of actions aimed at building a science in tune with social needs, considering horizontal perspectives that generate greater dialogue between science and society. In this sense, the general objective of this article is to analyze open scientific practices used by researchers in medical sciences and health in Colombia. The methodology consisted of a quantitative approach, supported by a structured questionnaire answered by 339 researchers in this area of knowledge. The main results aim to highlight that collaborative practices are not yet carried out daily in the area, but there are advances in open scientific knowledge practices especially related to publications and in open communication associated with visibility in the construction of the digital profile of investigator. In conclusion, it is evident that the scientists included in the study generally present a progressive tendency to use open science practices, but strategic components that guarantee the development of processes of social appropriation of knowledge in the area of health must be strengthened.                                             [1] => Las prácticas científicas abiertas se constituyen por una serie de acciones orientadas a construir una ciencia en sintonía con las necesidades sociales, y considera perspectivas horizontales generadoras de un mayor diálogo entre la ciencia y la sociedad. El objetivo del artículo fue analizar las prácticas científicas abiertas utilizadas por investigadores del área de las ciencias médicas y la salud en Colombia. Se aplicó en un enfoque cuantitativo, sustentado en un cuestionario estructurado que respondieron 339 investigadores de esta área del conocimiento. Los principales resultados destacan que las prácticas colaborativas aún no se realizan de manera cotidiana en el área, pero existen avances en las prácticas de conocimiento científico abierto, especialmente relacionadas con las publicaciones y en comunicación abierta, asociadas con la visibilidad en la construcción del perfil digital de investigador. Como conclusión se evidencia que, en general, los científicos incluidos en el estudio presentan una tendencia progresiva al uso de prácticas de la ciencia abierta, pero deben fortalecerse componentes estratégicos que garantizan el desarrollo de los procesos de apropiación social del conocimiento en el área de la salud en Colombia, así como de formación y habilidad en el campo.
