                    [0] => Introdução: O volume de informações disponibilizado na Web é expressivo, o que dificulta sua recuperação, implicando o uso de mecanismos que auxiliem no processo de busca. Nesse contexto, os mecanismos de busca se tornaram fundamentais, sendo alvos de estudos, em especial na área da Ciência da Informação, uma vez que as teorias e técnicas na dimensão da Organização e Representação do Conhecimento e Recuperação da Informação se apoiam na construção de um domínio e sua representação. Nessa perspectiva, este estudo tem como objetivo verificar como as técnicas de Search Engine Optimization, provenientes do marketing, podem ser empregadas em conjunto, para aperfeiçoar a organização e a representação da informação nos mecanismos de busca, possibilitando uma maior precisão nos resultados de busca obtidos pelos usuários. Método: A metodologia adotada possui caráter descritivo exploratório, caracterizando uma pesquisa bibliográfica, a fim de discorrer acerca da temática e apresentar as discussões, com base na Ciência da Informação. Resultados: Os resultados apontam que as técnicas de SEO podem contribuir e inovar na maneira de disponibilizar informações para a sociedade, proporcionando organização, recuperação, acesso e uso das informações, em diversos ambientes. Conclusão: Conclui-se que as técnicas de Search Engine Optimization podem dar apoio e suporte na construção de ambientes informacionais digitais, tratando e organizando a informação, contribuindo, de forma efetiva, para a Recuperação da Informação.@pt
                    [1] => Introduction: The amount of information available on the Web is expressive, which makes its retrieval difficult,implying the use of mechanisms that assist in the search process. In this context, search engines have become fundamental, being the target of studies, especially in Information Science, since the theories and techniques in the dimension of the Organization and Representation of Knowledge and Information Retrieval arebased on the construction of a domain and its representation. In this perspective, this study aims to verify how  Search Engine Optimization techniques from marketing can be employed together to improve the organization and representation of information in search engines, enabling greater accuracy in the search results obtained by users. Method: The methodology adopted has a descriptive exploratory character, defined as bibliographic research to discuss the theme and present the discussions, based on Information Science. Results: The results indicate that SEO techniques can contribute and innovate in the way of making information available to society, providing organization, retrieval, access and use of information in various environments. Conclusions: We conclude that Search Engine Optimization techniques can provide support in the construction of digital informational environments, treating and organizing information, contributing effectively to Information.@en
