                    [0] => Introdução: A história cultural da Indústria Gráfica e da Tipografia é tema motivador para este trabalho. Nesse sentido, apresenta-se, num recorte, a caracterização dos operários de oficinas tipográficas, na Europa, sob a perspectiva da História Cultural e Arqueologia da Industrialização agregadas aos Estudos Culturais em determinados aspectos. Método: adota-se a pesquisa bibliográfica seletiva aos propósitos, reunindo livros, artigos impressos e textos eletrônicos diversos. Resultados: tem-se um conteúdo que permite visualizar o ofício e a cultura dos tipógrafos ao longo dos tempos, as adequações ao desenvolvimento industrial do setor, bem como questões que induzem às preocupações com a preservação da memória sócio-histórica dessa atividade profissional. Conclusão: As estratégias criativas de sobrevivência ou de resistência no meio gráfico incluem a busca de esclarecimento formal, e há que se observar com critério esse ‘cidadão comum’ sujeito intelectual e prático da História e Memória da Indústria Gráfica.@pt
                    [1] => Introduction: The cultural history of the Graphic Industry and Typography is a motivating theme for this paper. In this sense, the characterization of workers of typographic workshops, in Europe, is presented in a clipping, from the perspective of Cultural History and Archeology of Industrialization added to Cultural Studies in certain aspects. Method: selective bibliographic research for the purposes is adopted, gathering books, printed articles and various electronic texts. Results: we have content that allows us to visualize the craft and culture of typographers over time, the adjustments to the industrial development of the sector, as well as issues that lead to concerns about the preservation of the socio-historical memory of this professional activity. Conclusion: The creative strategies of survival or resistance in the graphic medium include the search for formal clarification, and this ´common citizen´ intellectual and practical subject of the History and Memory of the Graphic Industry must be carefully observed.@en
