                    [0] => Este artigo discorre sobre um percurso da história da leitura, registrando que há motivações históricas para o ato de ler, como há registros da sua proibição. Destaca o papel fundamental exercido pelos romances na formação da mulher leitora, especialmente os romances  cognominados de romances cor de rosa. Aborda sobre as  proibições impostas pelas elites sociais e religiosas às leituras das mulheres, como aponta para o papel da literatura na criação e sedimentação, no imaginario social, do estereotipo da mulher leitora frágil, futil e romanticamente sensível. Aponta para as mudanças ocorridas na contemporaneidade e para o compromisso que deve ser assumido pelos profissionais da informação no que concerne a socialização do direito ao livro e à leitura.@pt
                    [1] => This essay discusses a course in the history of reading, noting that there are historical motivations for the act of reading, as well as records of its prohibition. It highlights the fundamental role played by novels in the formation of women readers, especially novels known as rose-colored novels. It addresses the prohibitions imposed by social and religious elites on women´s readings, as it points to the role of literature in the creation and sedimentation, in the social imagination, of the stereotype of the fragile, futile and romantically sensitive woman reader. It points to the changes that have taken place in contemporaneity and to the commitment that must be assumed by information professionals regarding the socialization of the right to book and to reading.@en
