                    [0] => The university, as a producer of knowledge, plays a fundamental role in scientific dissemination, since it has the capacity to reach wider audiences via the internet and the social platforms, like YouTube. In this sense, this work has the general objective of identifying and analyzing, scientific dissemination initiatives in YouTube channels of the three oldest Federal Universities in the Northeast Region of Brazil. This is an exploratory and descriptive study, with a qualitative and quantitative nature. For data collection, a survey was carried out on the websites of the mentioned universities, in addition to a bibliographical research. Data analysis and statistical tracking was performed using the SocialBlade tool. In conclusion, although these universities show a considerable number of subscribers and views on their channels, most of the content of their videos are more aimed at the academic public, requiring a greater targeting and expansion of these scientific disclosures for the community at large.@en
                    [1] => A universidade, enquanto produtora de conhecimento, desempenha um papel fundamental na divulgação científica, pois tem a capacidade de alcançar públicos mais amplos por meio da internet e de plataformas sociais, como o YouTube. Nesse sentido, este artigo pretende identificar e analisar iniciativas de divulgação científica nos canais do YouTube, das três universidades federais mais antigas da Região Nordeste do Brasil. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório e descritivo, de caráter qualitativo e quantitativo. Para coleta dos dados, foi feito um levantamento nos sites das referidas universidades, além de uma pesquisa bibliográfica. A análise dos dados estatísticos nos canais foi feita com auxílio da ferramenta SocialBlade. Concluiu-se que, apesar dessas universidades apresentarem um considerável número de inscritos e de visualizações em seus canais, a maioria dos conteúdos de seus vídeos estão mais voltados para o público acadêmico, sendo necessário um maior direcionamento e ampliação dessas divulgações científicas para a comunidade em geral.@pt
