                                            [0] => A challenge of working with periodicals lies in reconstructing the complex relations that each title maintained with other titles that circulate at the same time. This analysis focused solely on the pages of a publication that, even if detailed and careful, can only benefit from reestablishing the nature of the dialogue held with contemporaries in the public sphere. Furthermore, the relevance of incorporating print media into the intricacies of the current situation becomes even more evident as it contributes to understanding objectives, editorial direction, and possible changes. From these perspectives, this study aims to understand the reasons that motivated the launch of Anuário Brasileiro de Literatura and the different meanings the publication assumed over time. Thus, this investigation, rather than intending to cover all aspects of the periodical, aims to examine the alleged reasons for the emergence of the publication, which ultimately led this research to the question of Brazilian bibliographies.
                                            [1] => Um dos desafios do trabalho com periódicos está em recompor as complexas relações que cada título manteve com congêneres que circularam no mesmo momento. A análise centrada exclusivamente nas páginas de uma publicação, ainda que detida e cuidadosa, só tem a ganhar caso se restabeleça a natureza do diálogo travado com os contemporâneos no espaço público. Ainda mais evidente é a relevância da inserção do impresso nos meandros da conjuntura, o que colabora para compreender objetivos, linha editorial e eventuais mudanças de rumo. A partir de tais perspectivas, objetiva-se compreender as razões que motivaram o lançamento do Anuário Brasileiro de Literatura e os diferentes sentidos que a publicação assumiu no decorrer do tempo. Nesse passo, a investigação não pretende dar conta de todos os aspectos do periódico, antes se limita a averiguar as razões alegadas para o surgimento da publicação, o que acabou por conduzir a pesquisa para a questão das bibliografias brasileiras.
