                                            [0] => This study analyzes the use of visualizations in the Spanish media during the solar eclipse of April 8, 2024. Nearly 400 articles were reviewed, classifying them according to the inclusion of visual elements, such as maps, videos and infographics. The results show that 70% of the articles did not use any type of visual support, and those that did used mainly external resources. The implications of this deficiency on the quality of scientific journalism are discussed and recommendations are proposed to improve the representation of data in the media.
                                            [1] => En este estudio, se analiza el uso de visualizaciones en los medios españoles durante el eclipse solar del 8 de abril de 2024. Se revisaron cerca de 400 artículos, clasificándolos según la inclusión de elementos visuales, como mapas, vídeos e infografías. Los resultados muestran que el 70% de los artículos no emplearon ningún tipo de soporte visual, y los que sí lo hicieron utilizaron principalmente recursos externos. Se discuten las implicaciones de esta carencia en la calidad del periodismo científico y se proponen recomendaciones para mejorar la representación de datos en los medios de comunicación.
