                    [0] => The article reports the author’s experience with archival collections and Historical Geographic Information Systems (HGIS) directed to the study of the transformations of the so-called Quadrilátero Central of Ribeirão Preto (SP), which occurred between 1884 and 1949, the subject of Ph.D. research in progress. Within HGIS, the study georeferenced, vectorized, and registered documents and data coming mainly from the Arquivo Público e Histórico de Ribeirão Preto. The article focuses on the method developed within the research for the geolocation of construction documentation from the crossing of cadastral plans and data from property tax books. As partial results of the research, it brings thematic maps and examples of construction documentation identified with a geolocation, some of them still preserved in the current landscape. As acontribution to the scientific field, the research shows how digital technologies can broaden the historiographical perspectives on the city and bring them closer to the current physical landscape and the practice of heritage preservation.@en
                    [1] => O artigo relata a experiência da autora com acervos arquivísticos e SIG-Histórico direcionado ao estudo das transformações do Quadrilátero Central de Ribeirão Preto (SP), ocorridas entre 1884 e 1949, tema de pesquisa de doutorado em andamento. Em SIG, foram georreferenciados, vetorizados e cadastrados documentos e dados provenientes, principalmente, do Arquivo Público e Histórico de Ribeirão Preto. O artigo tem como foco o método desenvolvido no âmbito da pesquisa para geolocalização de processos de obras  a partir do cruzamento de plantas cadastrais e dados de livros de impostos prediais. Traz como resultados parciais da pesquisa mapas temáticos e exemplos de processos geolocalizados de obras, algumas ainda preservadas na paisagem atual. Como contribuição ao campo científico, a pesquisa evidencia como as tecnologias digitais podem ampliar as perspectivas historiográficas sobre a cidade, bem como aproximá-las da paisagem atual e da prática da preservação patrimonial.@pt
