                                            [0] => School library and reading is a theme that is interconnected, given its importance in promoting the encouragement of reading in schools and the development of critical subjects. Within this perspective, the present theme, the academic-scientific production of the school library and reading by the Information Science Database (Brapci) in the last three years, started from the question: how the school library has been approached in relation to reading at Brapci in the last three years (2021-2023)? The general objective was to analyze how the school library and reading are interrelated and represented in communications and scientific articles indexed by Brapci between the years 2021 and 2023 and specific objectives: i) quantitatively represent the scientific production on school libraries and reading in the Database Data in Information Science (Brapci); ii) demonstrate how the school library is being approached in relation to reading selected bibliographic materials; iii) articulate the importance of the school library for encouraging and promoting reading based on material recovered at Brapci. The research methodology is characterized as descriptive, quantitative in nature and bibloiographical in nature, having a bibliometric representation of scientific literature in the area of ​​Library Science and Information Science indexed in the Information Science Database (Brapci). As a result, 53 texts were found in Brapci, which after technical indexing reading were reduced to 18: 17 articles and 1 event communication. It is concluded that the school library is a fundamental environment for promoting and encouraging reading.
                                            [1] => Biblioteca escolar e leitura é um tema que está interligado, visto a sua importância para promover o incentivo à leitura nas escolas e o desenvolvimento de sujeitos críticos. Através do olhar da produção acadêmico-científica da biblioteca escolar e da leitura pela Base de Dados em Ciência da Informação (Brapci) nos últimos três anos, o presente tema partiu da pergunta: como a biblioteca escolar vem sendo abordada em sua relação com a leitura na Brapci nos últimos três anos (2021-2023)? O objetivo geral foi analisar como a biblioteca escolar e a leitura são interrelacionadas e representadas nas comunicações e artigos científicos indexados pela Brapci entre os anos de 2021 a 2023 e objetivos específicos: i) representar quantitativamente a produção científica sobre biblioteca escolar e leitura na Base de Dados em Ciência da Informação (Brapci); ii) demonstrar como a biblioteca escolar está sendo abordada em relação à leitura nos materiais bibliográficos selecionados; iii) articular a importância da biblioteca escolar para o incentivo e promoção da leitura a partir do material recuperado na Brapci. A metodologia da pesquisa caracteriza-se como descritiva, de natureza quantitativa com caráter bibliográfico, fazendo uma representação bibliométrica da literatura científica da área da Biblioteconomia e da Ciência da Informação indexada na Base de Dados em Ciência da Informação (Brapci). Como resultados foram encontrados 53 textos na Brapci, que após leitura técnica de indexação foram reduzidos a 18: 17 artigos e 1 comunicação de evento. Conclui-se que a biblioteca escolar é um ambiente fundamental de promoção e incentivo à leitura.
