                                            [0] => The University must think and rethink its integration with 1st and 2nd levels teaching in the same way it thinks itself. Between action perspectives and ocurred attitudes from this supposition avised the Coordenadoria de Divulgação Científica e Cultural (COCC), wich acts on 1st and 2nd levels teaching. It is fundamentally important to know students and teaching professional's perceptions about this. The research was realized with students, teachers, principal and librarian from a Public 1st and 2nd levels School, at São Carlos (N =125). Between the students, studying and researching predominate just when teacher's request. The Public Libraryis the biggest aid Instituition for a bibliographic research, followed by COCC, where comes to the librarians help. Encyclopaedia and books are the most used materiais. From ali COCC activities, "excursions and visits" are more frequent. There is integration needs between activities and libray. Library has a good concept between students and technique staff, although it is insufficiently known and used. To make better CDCC actuation, particularly its Library, several suggestions were made.
                                            [1] => A Universidade deve pensar e repensar sua integração com o ensino de 1º e 2º graus da mesma forma que pensa sobre si mesma. Entre as perspectivas de ação e de atitudes decorrentes desta suposição surgiu a Coordenado ria de Divulgação Científica e Cultural (CDCC), da USP de São Carlos que atua integrada ao ensino de 1º e 2º graus. É de fundamental importância conhecer as percepções que alunos e profissionais do ensino têm da mesma. A pesquisa foi realizada junto a alunos, professores, Diretora e Bibliotecária de uma escola de 1º e 2º graus da Rede Pública da cidade de São Carlos (N=125). Predomina entre os alunos o estudo e a pesquisa quando solicitados pelo professor. A Biblioteca Pública é a Instituição de maior apoio para a pesquisa bibliográfica, vindo em seguida a da CDCC onde recorrem a ajuda das Bibliotecárias. Enciclopédias e livros são os materiais mais usados. Das atividades da CDCC "excursões e visitas' são as mais frequentes. Há carências de integração entre as atividades da CDCC e a Biblioteca. A Biblioteca tem um bom conceito entre os alunos e equipe técnica da escola, embora seja insuficientemente conhecida e usada. Foram feitas sugestões para melhoria da atuação da CDCC e em particular de sua Biblioteca.
