                                            [1] => Os padrões de comunicação científica dos professores/pesquisadores da Faculdade de Medicina/UFBA foram estudados através de amostragem (41.7% de 271), quanto a: a) sexo, faixa etária, formação acadêmica: b) atividades de pesquisa, e canais de comunicação: c) fontes de fomento, obstáculos à pesquisa e influência das lideranças científicas. Foram identificados como preferidos os "Congressos e similares". dentre os canais informais e semiformais: os "Artigos de periódicos", dentre os formaise os "Índices", dentre os superformas. Assim, existe similaridade destes resultados com os divulgados no artigo "Padrões de Comunicação Científica da UFBA", no tocante à Medicina. A biblioteca e os serviços "on-line" são evidenciados e formas de estímulo à pesquisa são propostas.
