                    [0] => Busca compreender a importância da nominação da Coleção Lima Barreto, custodiada pela Seção de Manuscritos da Biblioteca Nacional, como Memória do Mundo pela Organização das Nações Unidas para a Educação, a Ciência e a Cultura (UNESCO), à luz da noção de memória subterrânea de Pollak (1989). Parte da premissa de que a Coleção Lima Barreto, para além de representar o escritor, é um importante elemento social, na medida em que eterniza uma pessoa negra, descendente de pessoas escravizadas, que sofreu durante boa parte de sua vida com as auguras do preconceito de classe, cor e de vulnerabilidade social. Utiliza como metodologia a pesquisa bibliográfica, a partir de referenciais teóricos sobre o arquivo pessoal e a sua relação com a memória, além de pretender compreender o Programa Memória do Mundo da UNESCO. Conclui que é importante que se tire dos subterrâneos as memórias de inúmeros grupos que compõem o social, mas que não se fazem presentes nas instituições de memória.@en
                    [1] => This article aims to understand the significance of the inscription of the Lima Barreto Collection, housed in the Manuscripts Section of the National Library, as a UNESCO Memory of the World, through the lens of Pollak´s (1989) concept of subterranean memory. This study argues that the Lima Barreto Collection, beyond representing the writer, constitutes a vital social element. It immortalizes a Black individual, descended from enslaved people, who endured significant hardships due to the class and racial prejudice, as well as social vulnerability. The methodology employed involves bibliographic research, which seeks theoretical references on personal archives and their relationship with memory, alongside an understanding of UNESCO´s Memory of the World Programme. The study concludes that it is essential to highlight the memories of numerous minorities groups that constitute society but are often unrepresented in memory institutions.@pt
