The research identifies barriers and delves into activities related to preservation and artistic records, aiming to strengthen representations marked by artisanal labour. By employing qualitative research methods, the aim is to achieve efficient results and provide alternatives for cataloguing the collection, further contributing to the healthy maintenance of the artifacts. Additionally, hygiene standards for the items are evaluated, aligned with the needs of the centre, as these spaces play a crucial role in preserving the originality of pieces that convey recognition of popular tradition.
                                            [1] => Este artigo apresenta um recorte da monografia de graduação intitulada Da estante para exibição: o papel do bibliotecário na preservação de objetos de museus. que visa elucidar questões relacionadas aos objetos museológicos do Núcleo de Pesquisa e Documentação (NUPPO), com foco específico nas coleções "Casa de Barro" do autor Abimael Soares da Fonseca. A pesquisa detecta barreiras e realiza um recorte sobre as atividades de preservação e registros artísticos, visando fortalecer as representações marcadas pelo labor artesanal. Utilizando o método de pesquisa qualitativa, busca-se alcançar resultados eficientes e proporcionar alternativas para a descrição do acervo, ademais, contribuir para a manutenção saudável do estado dos artefatos. Além disso, são avaliadas as normas de higienização dos itens, alinhadas às necessidades do núcleo, uma vez que estes espaços desempenham um papel crucial na preservação da originalidade das peças que transmitem o reconhecimento da tradição popular.
