                    [0] => This work addresses librarian training, with emphasis on the presence of the theme “information literacy” in the curriculum. Thus, it aims to identify how information literacy is treated in higher education programmes of Library Science in Brazil. The methodological approach is configured as quantitative-qualitative and carries out content analysis of the syllabuses of the courses that deal with the theme and the respective programmes’ teaching plans. It was identified that just over half of Library Science programmes offer mandatory or optional courses that cover information literacy, even if succinctly. Only 22% of the courses are specifically designed to address the topic. Based on the results, the research concludes that there is a need to address information literacy in librarian’s training, considering the social demands of information education.@en
                    [1] => Este trabalho aborda a formação do bibliotecário, tendo como ênfase a presença da temática “competência em informação” no currículo. Assim, tem por objetivo identificar de que maneira a competência em informação é tratada nos cursos superiores em Biblioteconomia no Brasil. A abordagem metodológica se configura como quanti-qualitativa e realiza análise de conteúdo das ementas das disciplinas que tratam da temática e dos respectivos planos de estudo dos cursos. Foi identificado que pouco mais da metade dos cursos de Biblioteconomia ofertam disciplinas obrigatórias ou optativas que contemplam a competência em informação, mesmo que de forma sucinta. Apenas 22% das disciplinas são voltadas especificamente para abordar a temática. A partir dos resultados, a pesquisa conclui que há necessidade de tratar da competência em informação na formação do bibliotecário, considerando as demandas sociais de educação em informação.@pt
