                                            [0] => Sacred art photography has a documentary nature, portraying two distinct types of iconographic document: the photograph and the portrayed work (referring or the represented work). This type of document is in the field of Arts and Historical and Cultural Heritage. To represent this type of document from a museological point of view, it is necessary to consider the intrinsic aspects (descriptive representation), the extrinsic aspects (thematic representation), the visual, subjective and symbolic issues. Although they are tangible goods, sacred sculptures also have intangible values (historical, aesthetic and devotional values). It aims to search the literature for inputs to verify three elements: a) Functions and attributes of sacred sculptures; b) image representation methodologies; c) representation of symbolic aspects. To this end, the research, of an applied and descriptive nature, used the narrative bibliographic review and Bardin's Content Analysis method (1977), based on three categories of analysis. The results demonstrate the relevance of including interpretative and symbolic aspects in the representation of this type of document. A methodology proposal is presented that covers all the elements considered in an exhaustive manner, as well as an example of its application.
                                            [1] => A fotografia de arte sacra possui natureza documental, retratando dois tipos distintos de documento iconográfico: a fotografia e a obra retratada (referente ou trabalho representado). Esse tipo documental está no domínio das Artes e do Patrimônio Histórico e Cultural. Para a representação desse tipo documental, numa visão museológica, é preciso considerar os aspectos intrínsecos (representação descritiva), os extrínsecos (representação temática), as questões visuais, as subjetivas e as simbólicas. Embora sejam bens tangíveis, as esculturas sacras também possuem valores intangíveis (valores históricos, estéticos e devocionais). Tem como objetivo buscar na literatura insumos para verificar três elementos: a) Funções e atributos das esculturas sacras; b) metodologias de representação de imagens; c) representação dos aspectos simbólicos. Para tanto, a pesquisa, de natureza aplicada e descritiva, utilizou a revisão bibliográfica narrativa e o método Análise de Conteúdo de Bardin (1977), a partir de três categorias de análise. Os resultados demonstram a relevância da inclusão dos aspectos interpretativos e simbólicos na representação desse tipo documental. Apresenta-se uma proposta de metodologia que abarca todos os elementos considerados de modo exaustivo, assim como um exemplo de sua aplicação.
