                    [0] => The present work aims to present the challenges and possibilities of archiving at the television station, TV Tambaú (João Pessoa – Paraíba). For this, it was necessary to identify the role of the archivist, outlining his perspectives and problems, through direct observation and analysis of three of his files: people management, purchases and video-magnetic tapes. The research has an exploratory character, involving bibliographic and documentary surveys, collecting data also through direct observation and unstructured interviews, directed to their respective guardians; descriptive, reporting the characteristics referring to the object of this work, in addition to the use of qualitative approach and analysis. Regarding the results obtained, it is recommended the implementation of document management, application of conservation techniques and physical and digital preservation, standardization in the methods of ordering, digitization, constitution of sectorial files, storage and packaging, in order to obtain informational control, access and use by its usersIt concludes that the archivist, in addition to providing the organization and management of various types of documents, directly influences the organizational decision-making power and access to information, both for internal and external users.@en
                    [1] => O presente trabalho objetiva apresentar os desafios e as possibilidades do fazer arquivístico na emissora de televisão, TV Tambaú (João Pessoa – Paraíba). Para isso, foi necessário identificar o papel do arquivista, delineando suas perspectivas e problemáticas, por meio da observação direta e da análise de três dos seus arquivos: gestão de pessoas, de compras e de fitas videomagnéticas. A pesquisa possui caráter exploratório, envolvendo levantamentos bibliográficos e documentais, coletando os dados também por meio de observação direta e entrevista não-estruturada, direcionadas aos seus respectivos responsáveis; descritivo, relatando as características referentes ao objeto deste trabalho, além do uso da abordagem e da análise qualitativas. Acerca dos resultados obtidos, recomenda-se a implantação da gestão documental, aplicação de técnicas de conservação e preservação física e digital, padronização nos métodos de ordenação, digitalização, constituição de arquivos setoriais, armazenamento e acondicionamento, em prol de obter controle informacional, acesso e uso dos seus usuários. Conclui que o arquivista, além de proporcionar a organização e a gestão dos variados tipos documentais, influencia diretamente no poder decisório organizacional e acesso à informação, tanto para os usuários internos como para os externos.@pt
