                    [0] => This study aims to describe how the Benedito Leite Public Library (BPBL) has acted in the socialization of information about its services and products within the scope of the Reference and Information Service (RIS), as well as the perspectives of appropriation of cultural heritage in São Luís (MA), this from a descriptive study, of quantitative and qualitative approach, involving managers, professionals and participants in the educational services of mediation of local heritage. It addresses the Reference and Information Service (RIS) and the appropriation of cultural heritage. It states that the BPBL enhances and connects the Ludovicense population with cultural heritage. It reinforces that the RIS provides the community the contact with the documents that make up the collections of the libraries and creates activities that favor community growth. It advocates that it is essential to think of Educational Services (ES) as instruments for the perpetuation of memories, propagated by the transmission of collective knowledge of the past and the future.@en
                    [1] => Estudo que objetiva descrever como a Biblioteca Pública Benedito Leite (BPBL) tem atuado na socialização das informações acerca de seus serviços e produtos no âmbito do Serviço de Referência e Informação (SRI), bem como as perspectivas de apropriação do patrimônio cultural em São Luís (MA), isto a partir de um estudo descritivo, de abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa, envolvendo gestores, profissionais e os participantes dos serviços educativos de mediação do patrimônio local. Aborda o Serviço de Referência e Informação (SRI) e a apropriação do patrimônio cultural. Afirma que a BPBL potencializa e conecta a população ludovicense com o patrimônio cultural. Reforça que o SRI proporciona à comunidade o contato com os documentos que compõem os acervos das bibliotecas e cria atividades que favorecem o crescimento comunitário. Advoga que é essencial pensar os Serviços Educativos (SE) como instrumentos de perpetuação das memórias, propagadas pela transmissão do conhecimento coletivo de outrora e vindouro.@pt
