                                            [0] => The following reflection is the result of recent research, through which the transition from the sound archive to the digital multimedia archive is observed as a contemporary phenomenon that is placed in the contemporary digital ecosystem. The article is introduced with the etymological origin and evolution of the notion of archive. The evolution of this term as a result of the technological evolution of the last century is presented and its relationship with the emergence and evolution of sound archives is presented. The conceptual differences between the notions of library and digital archive are then established. It analyses the changes to which the sound archive has been subjected in recent decades and how they have impacted on the notion of the document and the transition from digital sound archiving to multimedia.
                                            [1] => La reflexión que se ofrece a continuación es resultado de investigaciones recientes a través de las cuales se advierte la transición del archivo sonoro al digital multimedios, como un fenómeno que se sitúa en el ecosistema digital contemporáneo. Se introduce el artículo con el origen etimológico y el desarrollo de la noción de archivo. Se presenta la evolución de este término como resultado del desarrollo tecnológico del siglo pasado y se formula su relación con el surgimiento y evolución de las fonotecas. Después se establecen las diferencias conceptuales de las nociones biblioteca y archivo digital. Se analizan los cambios a los que se ha visto sometido el archivo sonoro en las últimas décadas y cómo han impactado en la noción de documento y en la transición del archivo digital sonoro al multimedios
