                                            [0] => The aim of this article is to analyze the research in library science and documentation developed by the Faculty of Library Science at the National University of Cordoba (UNC). This is carried out by studying dissertations submitted to qualify for the bachelor’s degree in the aforementioned subject. A total of 27 dissertations submitted between 1996 and 2012 were examined. An exploratory study was used with a quantitative approach where the following were investigated: the visibility and accessibility of these theses on  web; metadata records in catalogs and repositories; the number of thesis written per year; the amount of graduates per year, authors per thesis and dissertations with directors and co-directors; the number of theses directed by each director/co-director; the degree of concentration of the thesis directors; the institutional affiliation of directors/co-directors; and the thematic distribution of content accordingto areas of MERCOSUR and keywords. It was concluded, among other things, that dissertations in library science at the UNC have poor accessibility, many are from the area of information treatment and management, and there is a marked trend towards producing articles related to the university and especially to university libraries
                                            [1] => Se busca conocer la investigación en el nivel de grado desarrollada en bibliotecología y documentación en la Escuela de Bibliotecología  de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba mediante el estudio de las tesinas presentadas para optar al título de licenciatura; se trabajó con un total de 27 tesinas presentadas entre los años 1996-2012. Constituye un estudio exploratorio descriptivo con enfoque cuantitativo donde se indaga por la visibilidad y accesibilidad de las tesinas en la web; los metadatos de los registros en los catálogos y en repositorios; la  producción de tesinas por año; la cantidad de egresados por año, autores por tesina,  directores y tesinas con codirectores; la cantidad de tesinas dirigidas por cada director/codirector; el grado de concentración de la dirección de tesinas, la afiliación institucional de los directores/codirectores y, la distribución temática del contenido según áreas del MERCOSUR y según palabras clave. Se concluye, entre otros ítems, que las tesinas en bibliotecología tienen escasa accesibilidad, en su mayor cantidad pertenecen al campo del tratamiento y organización de la información y del área de la gestión, además  que  existe una marcada tendencia en los temas relacionados con el ámbito universitario y, en especial a las bibliotecas universitarias.
