It is a literature which presents the theoretical contributions consolidated and emerging, relationships between methods and their contributions to understanding the structures of knowledge and of information flows today. Discusses the relevance of information visualization techniques to adequately represent the phenomena studied and indicates the trends of using infometrics and multidimensional indicators on the global scenario. Finish confirming the importance of infometrics to information analysis as social phenomena and shows the challenge of using multidimensional indicators for improvement of the metric information studies.@en
                    [1] => Este estudo analisa os avanços e as perspectivas da infometria e dos indicadores multidimensionais no contexto dos estudos métricos da informação. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, que apresenta as contribuições teóricas consolidadas e emergentes, as relações entre os métodos e suas contribuições para a compreensão das estruturas do conhecimento e dos fluxos da informação na atualidade. Discute a relevância da abordagem multidimensional para representar adequadamente os fenômenos analisados e aponta as tendências do uso da infometria e dos indicadores multidimensionais da informação no cenário global. Finaliza ratificando a importância da infometria para análise da informação enquanto fenômeno social e sinaliza o desafio do uso de indicadores multidimensionais para aprimoramento dos estudos métricos da informação.@pt
