                    [0] => Analysis of the limits of freedom of expression on social media from a social and legal perspective. The overall objective was to discuss the balance between freedom of expression and hate speech on social media and, specifically, to analyze judicial actionin this matter; discuss the need and methods of educating users to create a safe virtual environment; understand the spread of hate speech through mechanisms such as algorithms; and assess the effectiveness of the judicial system in these cases. Theresearch is based on literature review and fieldwork conducted through the application of questionnaires to different types of user profiles. The results highlight the existence of social media algorithms as disseminators of hate comments, noting that as people consume certain content, topics related to their specific interests are filtered, resultingin users becoming more isolated in certain themes. It identified the aspects of the legal field primarily focusing on punitive measures; however, the problem identified in the legal realm of social media is the lack of specific regulations, as the existing laws in the "real world" are applied and interpreted situationally when it comes to virtual crimes. It concludes that there is a need to adopt measures to control this issue, such as educational campaigns that promote less acceptance of hate speech, the improvement of cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) software for filtering derogatory comments, and the encouragement of activist movements on social media.@en
                    [1] => Análise dos limites da liberdade de expressão nas redes sociais com uma perspectiva social e jurídica. O objetivo geral consistiu em discutir um equilíbrio entre regulamentar a liberdade de expressão e a censura ocorrida nas redes sociais e, os específicos, verificar ações do judiciário para lidar com os limites da liberdade de expressão e do discurso de ódio; discutir possíveis ações para a educação dos sujeitos (usuários) sobre o uso das redes sociais dentro dos limites democráticos; compreender os mecanismos da proliferação do discurso de ódio nas redes por meio dos algoritmos e, analisar a eficiência das ações judiciárias para lidar com a liberdade de expressão e com o discurso de ódio nas redes sociais. A pesquisa é bibliográfica e campo desenvolvida por meio da aplicação de questionários a diferentes tipos de perfis de usuários. Os resultados destacam a existência do algoritmo das redes sociais como difusor dos comentários de ódio, observando que, conforme as pessoas consomem determinado conteúdo, são filtrados assuntos relacionados à determinada “bolha” que a interessa, gerando usuários mais alienados em determinados temas. Apontou os aspectos do campo jurídico atuando principalmente com a função punitiva, entretanto, o problema identificado no campo legal das redes sociais é a falta de regulamentação específica, visto que as leis vigentes no “mundo real” são aplicadas e interpretadas conforme a situação quando se fala de crimes virtuais. Conclui que há a necessidade de adotar medidas para controlar a problemática, como campanhas pedagógicas que promovam a menor aceitação de discursos de ódio, o aprimoramento de softwares com Inteligência Artificial de ponta para a filtragem de comentários pejorativos e o encorajamento de movimentos militantes nas redes sociais.@pt
