                                            [0] => Black Librarianship is considered a research topic in the area of Information Science, anchored to the scope of social Librarianship, the first one, among its characteristics, aims to seek recognition and equality to the Afro-Brazilian and African populations, where researches and projects that address the ethno-racial theme become actions and discussions within the praxis of information professionals. Given these premises, the present research has the general objective of characterizing Black Librarianship, in its theoretical and conceptual aspects and its approach in scientific publications of Information Science, indexed in the Reference Database of Articles in Periodicals in Information Science (BRAPCI). An exploratory methodology with a qualitative and quantitative approach was used, in which a bibliographic survey was carried out in fourteen (14) papers retrieved from BRAPCI. As a result, it was found the scarcity of published works that address this theme and a predominance regarding the methodologies used, where the vast majority are bibliographic research of exploratory nature. We conclude that this theme needs to be worked on by librarians, as teachers and as disseminators of information, both in classrooms and in social environments, in order to build an egalitarian society.
                                            [1] => A Biblioteconomia negra é considerada um tópico de pesquisa na área da Ciência da Informação, ancorada ao escopo da Biblioteconomia social, sendo que a primeira, dentre suas características, visa buscar o reconhecimento e igualdade para a população afro-brasileira e africana, onde as pesquisas e projetos que abordam a temática étnico-racial, se transformam em ações e discussões dentro da práxis dos profissionais da informação. Diante dessas premissas a presente pesquisa parte do objetivo geral de caracterizar a Biblioteconomia negra, em seus aspectos teóricos conceituais e sua abordagem nas publicações científicas da Ciência da Informação, indexadas na Base de Dados Referencial de Artigos de Periódicos em Ciência da Informação (BRAPCI). Utilizou-se uma metodologia de caráter exploratório com abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa, no qual foi feito um levantamento bibliográfico em 14 (quatorze) trabalhos recuperados da BRAPCI. Como resultado, constatou-se a escassez de trabalhos publicados que abordem essa temática e uma predominância quanto as metodologias utilizadas, onde a grande maioria são pesquisas bibliográficas de caráter exploratório. Conclui-se que essa temática precisa ser bastante trabalhada pelos profissionais bibliotecários, quanto docentes e quanto disseminadores da informação, tanto nas salas de aulas quanto nos ambientes sociais, a fim de existir uma construção de uma sociedade igualitária.
