                    [0] => The article focuses on the Declaration of Public and Social Interest of private archives established in the 8.159/1991 Act and its relationship with the practices of patrimonialization of archival collections in Brazil. Based on the analysis of the discourses around the issue of heritage, it examines the criteria and the discourses mobilized in the process of recognizing the public and social interest of a personal archive, thus raising it to the category of historical and cultural heritage. This is descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, with a bibliographical and documentary basis. It analyzes the evolution of the notion of heritage, the debates around the concept of documentary heritage and its relationship with personal archives. It presents two devices for the patrimonialization of private archives at the Brazilian federal level: the Memory of the World Program and the Declaration of Public and Social Interest. And finally, it analyzes the procedures required for the Declaration, indicating its defining characteristics, the criteria used in the evaluation, and the conceptual and practical problems present in the application of the device.@es
                    [1] => O artigo tem como objeto a Declaração de Interesse Público e Social de arquivos privados estabelecida na Lei nº 8.159, de 8 de janeiro de 1991 e sua relação com as práticas de patrimonialização de acervos arquivísticos no Brasil. A partir da análise dos discursos em torno da questão do patrimônio, examina os critérios e os discursos mobilizados no processo de reconhecimento do interesse público e social de um arquivo pessoal, alçando-o, assim, à categoria de patrimônio histórico-cultural. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva, de abordagem qualitativa, com base bibliográfica e documental. Analisa a evolução da noção de patrimônio, os debates em torno do conceito de patrimônio documental e sua relação com os arquivos pessoais. Apresenta dois dispositivos de patrimonialização de arquivos privados em âmbito federal brasileiro: o Programa Memória do Mundo e a Declaração de Interesse Público e Social. E, finalmente, analisa os procedimentos necessários à Declaração, indicando suas características definidoras, os critérios utilizados na avaliação e os problemas conceituais e práticos presentes na aplicação do dispositivo.@pt
