                    [0] => In the scope of studies of information users, it is understood that the perspectives on informational behavior and informational practices are significant for research aimed at the LGBTQIA+ population. In this sense, the objective of this article is to describe the informational behavior and informational practices of Brazilian transvestites and transsexual women, considering their social, cultural and political aspects. The adopted methodology is constituted in a bibliographic survey that approaches the studies of users of the information and the contextual aspects of transvestites and transsexual women in national territory. The collected data are analyzed using a qualitative approach, establishing a brief review of the literature. The results demonstrate that the occurrence of information needs is developed collectively. Digital social networks are strong tools for searching and exchanging information. The use and sharing of information is aimed at disseminating information on transvestites and transsexuality to civil society. We conclude that the urgency of more studies aimed at this public is notorious, since the context in which dissident identities are located influences their processes related to the needs, search, access, appropriation, use and dissemination of information.@en
                    [1] => No âmbito dos estudos de usuários da informação, se compreende que as perspectivas sobre o comportamento informacional e as práticas informacionais são significativas para pesquisas voltadas à população LGBTQIA+. Nesse sentido, o objetivo deste artigo é descrever o comportamento informacional e as práticas informacionais de travestis e mulheres transexuais brasileiras, considerando seus aspectos sociais, culturais e políticos. A metodologia adotada se constitui em um levantamento bibliográfico que aborda os estudos de usuários da informação e os aspectos contextuais de travestis e mulheres transexuais em território nacional. Os dados coletados são analisados a partir de uma abordagem qualitativa, estabelecendo uma breve revisão de literatura. Os resultados demonstram que a ocorrência das necessidades de informação são desenvolvidas em coletividade. As redes sociais digitais se mostram fortes ferramentas nas buscas e nas trocas de informação. O uso e o compartilhamento da informação são direcionados à difusão de informações sobre travestilidade e transexualidade para a sociedade civil. Conclui-se que é notória a urgência de mais estudos voltados a esse público, visto que o contexto no qual as identidades dissidentes estão situadas influencia em seus processos relacionados às necessidades, busca, acesso, apropriação, uso e disseminação da informação.@pt
