                    [0] => This study proposes to demonstrate that photography, as a social document, is characterized as an important source of information that finds in albums a place for organizing and building memory and, in this case, family memory. It investigates the path from invention to the improvement of photographic technique, its rise as a document arising from the important contribution of the Escola dos Annales, and from Paul Otlet´s efforts, regarding the expansion of the notion of document, which added a documentary value to photography. It is a descriptive and exploratory research that adopts the bibliographic technique to support and achieve the proposed objectives and as a result, demonstrates that photographic albums, as repositories of memory and information, allow families to reread their own past, their relationships, opening the possibility of encounters, reunions and the creation of new and resignified narratives about their own stories.@en
                    [1] => Este estudo propõe demonstrar que a fotografia, como um documento social, caracteriza-se como uma importante fonte de informação que encontra nos álbuns um lugar de ordenamento e construção da memória e neste caso, da memória familiar. Investiga o percurso da invenção ao aprimoramento da técnica fotográfica, sua ascensão como documento advinda da importante contribuição da Escola dos Annales, e do empenho de Paul Otlet, no que concerne à ampliação da noção de documento, que agregou à fotografia um valor documental. É uma pesquisa descritiva e exploratória que adota a técnica bibliográfica para fundamentar e alcançar os objetivos propostos e como resultado, demonstra que os álbuns fotográficos, como repositórios de memória e informação, permitem que famílias possam fazer uma releitura do próprio passado, das suas relações, abrindo a possibilidade de encontros, reencontros e a criação de novas e ressignificadas narrativas sobre suas próprias histórias.@pt
