                                            [0] => This research contextualizes gender studies and addresses the history and questions about transvestility and transsexuality with the aim of strengthening research related to ethics within the Knowledge Organization. Its general objective is to identify how indexing influences the retrieval of information about gender stereotypes. To this end, it investigated how information is represented on two different bases. to verify whether the terms that represent the documents are in accordance with the literature on gender studies. Furthermore, it analyzed whether the terms are in accordance with the Thesaurus for the Study of Gender and Women and the Thesaurus for Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity. The research qualifies as bibliographic, documentary and descriptive research with a qualitative approach. In view of this, it appears that there was no return of any document that used pejorative terms.
                                            [1] => A presente pesquisa contextualiza os estudos de gênero e aborda a história e as questões sobre travestilidade e transexualidade com intuito de fortalecer as pesquisas relacionadas à ética dentro da Organização do Conhecimento. Tem como objetivo geral identificar como a indexação influencia na recuperação da informação acerca de estereótipos de gênero. Para tal, averiguou como ocorre a representação da informação em duas bases distintas.  No sentido de verificar se os termos que representam os documentos estão em conformidade com a literatura sobre estudos de gênero. Além disso, analisou se os termos estão de acordo com o Tesauro Para Estudo de Gênero e Sobre Mulheres e o Tesauro Sobre Orientação Sexual e Identidade de Gênero. A pesquisa qualifica-se como pesquisa bibliográfica, documental e descritiva com abordagem qualitativa. Diante disso, constata-se que não houve retorno de nenhum documento que se utilizasse de termos pejorativos.
