[0] => Based on the principle that advertising is the discourse of power (LAGE, 2019), this research, anchored in the materialist theory of discourse (PÊCHEUX, 2009), aims to understand the effects of meanings produced and erased by associating the image/voice of Elis Regina (posthumously) with the image of Volkswagen in the advertising piece commemorating the German company´s seventieth anniversary. In order to achieve this goal, we propose a theoretical-analytical analysis of an archive made up of six clippings from the advertisement: O Novo Veio de Novo, from which we seek to recover a memory that resists despite everything. To do this, we will use the concepts of memory and erasure, according to the authors PÊCHEUX (2009), ORLANDI (2007, 2010) and INDURSKY (2011).@en
