                                            [0] => Objective: To present a theoretical framework on the Design Thinking methodology (DT) and its applicability in scientific research, particularly its adoption in the field of Information Science (IS).
Methods: Qualitative and descriptive approach utilizing the technique of bibliographic research with the aim of presenting some of the key concepts, stages, methods, techniques, and data collection instruments of the DT methodology, correlating its application to the IS field.
Results: Presents theoretical foundation taken from the DT literature, contributing to reducing the lack of theoretical studies on this methodology in the field of IS.
Conclusions: The DT methodology has been increasingly adopted in marketing projects and also in scientific research in the areas of humanities and applied social sciences, making its appropriation by IS entirely coherent.
                                            [1] => Objetivo: Apresentar um referencial teórico sobre a metodologia Design Thinking (DT) e sua aplicabilidade nas pesquisas científicas, em especial, a sua apropriação pela área da Ciência da Informação (CI).
Métodos: Abordagem qualitativa e descritiva com aplicação da técnica de pesquisa bibliográfica cujo objetivo é apresentar alguns dos principais conceitos, etapas, métodos, técnicas e instrumentos de coleta de dados da literatura da metodologia DT, correlacionando sua aplicação à área da CI.
Resultados: Apresenta fundamentação teórica trazida da literatura de DT, contribuindo para reduzir a carência de estudos teóricos sobre essa metodologia no campo da CI.
Conclusões: A metodologia DT tem sido cada vez mais adotada nos projetos mercadológicos e, também, nas pesquisas científicas das áreas de humanas e sociais aplicadas, sendo totalmente coerente a sua apropriação pela CI.
