                                            [0] => The information and communication technologies known as ICTS continue to have an extraordinary impact on the social sphere and the knowledge society. The services that a library offers are also influenced by these technologies, as are the functions that the librarian performs to support and guide the user in the search and retrieval of information. This work seeks to analyze the points of view of the academic community integrated into the CONAHCYT Centers in relation to the services they obtain and what they expect from libraries and librarians in the coming years. The work is based on the survey method, a very useful instrument to determine the needs presented by various social groups. The community surveyed remains in an age range of 30-80 years, of these, 17.8% physically attend libraries daily and weekly, 22.7% every month, 31.6% sporadically and 28% do not attend. Scientists have preference and request a greater number of digital resources. The librarian does an extraordinary job, however, they expect greater preparation, continuous training and to resolve the information needs of users. The library must recover attendance in its physical space through the dissemination of culture by offering: workshops, courses, seminars, conferences, etc.
                                            [1] => Las tecnologías de información y comunicación conocidas como TICs, continúan impactando de forma extraordinaria en el ámbito social y en la sociedad del conocimiento. Los servicios que una biblioteca ofrece también están influenciados por estas tecnologías, al igual que las funciones que el bibliotecario realiza para apoyar y guiar al usuario en la búsqueda y recuperación de información. Con el presente trabajo se busca analizar los puntos de vista de la comunidad académica integrada a los Centros CONAHCYT en relación con los servicios que obtienen y lo que esperan de las bibliotecas y de los bibliotecarios en los próximos años. El trabajo se apoya en el método de la encuesta, un instrumento muy útil para determinar las necesidades que presentan los diversos grupos sociales. La comunidad encuestada se mantiene en un rango de edad que va de 30-80 años, de éstos, 17.8% asiste a bibliotecas en su estado físico diario y semanalmente, 22.7% cada mes, 31.6% esporádicamente y 28% no acude. Los científicos tienen preferencia y solicitan mayor número de recursos digitales. El bibliotecario hace un trabajo extraordinario, sin embargo, esperan de él mayor preparación, formación continua y que resuelvan las necesidades de información de los usuarios. La biblioteca debe recuperar la asistencia a su espacio físico a través de la difusión de la cultura ofreciendo: talleres, cursos, seminarios, congresos, etcétera.
