                                            [0] => This review article explores the concept of the invisible college and its fundamental role in the formation and evolution of scientific research. Through an exhaustive analysis of the most relevant literature identified, we examined how these informal networks of scientists and academics facilitate the exchange of information, knowledge, and resources and assess their significant influence on research trends and the dissemination of scientific knowledge. A study was conducted with a qualitative and critical approach, operationalized through a scoping review design. The mechanisms through which these networks foster interdisciplinary collaboration and promote innovations, the challenges and opportunities for scientific policy and research management were analyzed, and strategies were suggested to recognize and enhance their value in the global scientific ecosystem. Finally, future directions are proposed to investigate the impact of these hidden networks on science to improve the understanding of their role in advancing knowledge.
                                            [1] => Este artículo de revisión explora el concepto de colegio invisible y su papel fundamental en la formación y evolución de la investigación científica. A través de un análisis exhaustivo de la literatura de mayor relevancia identificada, se examinó cómo estas redes informales de científicos y académicos facilitan el intercambio de información, conocimientos y recursos, así como se valoró su influencia significativa en las tendencias de investigación y en la difusión del conocimiento científico. Se condujo un estudio con enfoque cualitativo y crítico, operacionalizado mediante un diseño de revisión panorámica. Se analizaron los mecanismos a través de los cuales estas redes fomentan la colaboración interdisciplinaria y promueven innovaciones, los desafíos y oportunidades para la política científica y la gestión de la investigación, así como se sugieren estrategias para reconocer y potenciar su valor en el ecosistema científico global. Finalmente, se proponen direcciones futuras para investigar el impacto de estas redes ocultas en la ciencia, con el objetivo de mejorar la comprensión de su papel en el avance del conocimiento.
