                    [0] => This article approaches the value of archival information in the society of knowledge, considering its importance to the state and the citizen. Discussing about the fine line, where is found this information. Initially used as a form of domination and power of the state, as well for the management of the same, and then its use as a tool for the exercise of citizenship. The article also presents a reflection about the archival policies in Brazil.  In this context, approaches the files as indispensable sources in knowledge construction and social development. What even might allow an overrunning on the path domain, being this the challenge of a society that seeks equality, justice and knowledge. Therefore, was sought out in the literature the fundamentals to bring concepts and perceptions of different authors about the value of archival information, prompting a reflection about the theme.@en
                    [1] => Aborda-se o valor da informação arquivística na sociedade do conhecimento, considerando a sua importância para o estado e o cidadão. Discorre sobre a linha tênue, em que essa informação situa-se. Inicialmente, utilizada como forma de domínio e poder do estado, bem como para a gestão desses. A sua utilização serve como ferramenta para o exercício da cidadania, fontes indispensáveis na construção do conhecimento e desenvolvimento social. O que inclusive, poderá possibilitar a ultrapassagem no caminho de domínio, sendo esse o desafio de uma sociedade que busca no conhecimento igualdade e justiça. Apresenta-se ainda uma reflexão quanto às políticas públicas arquivísticas no Brasil. Para tanto, buscou-se na literatura o aporte para trazer conceitos, bem como as percepções de diferentes autores sobre o valor da informação arquivística, instigando uma reflexão sobre a temática.@pt
