                                            [0] => Advances and social transformations bring about innovations in the contemporary world that impact aspects of the organization and work modality and result in a changing labor market that aims at competency-based services. To meet the demands that have arisen, update, innovate and improve their professional profiles so that professions are able to act in new scenarios. This applied, descriptive, exploratory, qualitative and bibliographic study reflects on the opportunity for the Archivist to add his skills in works that transcend the predefined standards of Archivology and Information Science. The general objective is to approach this professional in the Penitentiary and Socio-Educational System as a new scenario of performance. The specific objectives are: a) to portray the transcendence of Information Science and its acts in Archivology as sciences; b) characterize the national Penitentiary and Socio-Educational System; c) address the skills of the Archivist from the perspective of the work. It is justified by the intention of contributing to the production of theoretical material that explores Archivology in new environments as a representation of the breaking of paradigms, as well as by the possibility of enabling a bridge between transdisciplinary areas that allows the exchange of knowledge and actions to foster the understand the thematic that will reflect in informational material to the archival and to the prison scope. It turns out that the innovative Archivist who links his attributions to his competencies performs efficient and efficient services with a view to the future and success, meets modern information demands, becomes a professional with a desired profile in the job market and able to work in various scenarios.
                                            [1] => Avanços e transformações sociais ocasionam inovações no mundo contemporâneo que impactam os aspectos de organização e de modalidade laboral e resultam em um mercado de trabalho mutável que almeja serviços baseados em competências. Para suprir as demandas surgidas, indivíduos necessitam atualizar, inovar e aprimorar seus perfis profissionais para que profissões se demonstrem capazes de atuar em novos cenários. Este estudo aplicado, descritivo, exploratório, qualitativo e bibliográfico reflete sobre a oportunidade de o Arquivista agregar suas competências nos trabalhos transcendentes aos tradicionais predefinidos à Arquivologia e Ciência da Informação. O objetivo geral é abordar este profissional no Sistema Penitenciário e Socioeducativo como um novo cenário de atuação. Os objetivos específicos são: a) retratar a transcendência da Ciência da Informação e seus impactos na Arquivologia como ciências; b) caracterizar o Sistema Penitenciário e Socioeducativo nacional; c) abordar as competências do Arquivista na perspectiva do trabalho. Justifica-se pelo intuito de contribuir com produção de material teórico que explore a Arquivologia em novos ambientes como a representação do rompimento de paradigmas, bem como pela possibilidade de viabilizar uma ponte entre áreas transdisciplinares que permita o intercâmbio de saberes e fazeres para fomentar a compreensão da temática que refletirá em material informativo à arquivística e ao âmbito prisional. Resulta que o Arquivista inovador que vincula suas atribuições às suas competências executa serviços eficazes e eficientes com perspectiva de futuro e sucesso, atende as demandas informacionais modernas, se torna um profissional com perfil almejado no mercado de trabalho e apto para atuar em diversos cenários.
