                                            [0] => Considering the reality of imprisonment in prison, this article addresses, through literature the importance of libraries in prisons and how these institutions can help the process of social reintegration of the prisoner. Presents, through literature, history of libraries and eguinte include the library in prison over time. Given the above, this article aims to analyze the central importance of prison libraries as sites for access to information and citizenship. To do so, through literature, this study conducts the theoretical confrontation with different authors to base their discussions outlined in the investigative process. Thus, according to what was searched can be said that the prison libraries constitute important spaces for access to information and citizenship.

                                            [1] => Considerando a realidade da pena de reclusão no âmbito prisional, este artigo aborda, através de pesquisa bibliográfica a importância de bibliotecas em presídios e como estas instituições podem auxiliar no processo de reintegração social do preso. Apresenta, através de pesquisa bibliográfica, a história das bibliotecas e por eguinte a inclusão da biblioteca em estabelecimentos prisionais ao longo do tempo. Diante do exposto, este artigo tem como objetivo central analisar a importancia das bibliotecas prisionais enquanto espaços para o acesso a informação e a cidadania. Para tanto, através de pesquisa bibliográfica, este estudo, realiza o confronto teórico com diferentes autores para fundamentar as discussões delineadas nesse processo investigativo. Desse modo, de acordo com o que foi pesquisado pode-se afirmar que as bibliotecas prisionais constituem-se em importantes espaços para o acesso a informação e a cidadania.
