                                            [0] => Cinema brings new ways of representing reality, and seeking to understand how women are represented in this context provides data on stigmas and stereotypes that exist about them. With that in mind and given the importance of the emergence of the first female superhero character, Wonder Woman, this paper seeks to analyze the representation of the symbolic information of the female gender present in the film Wonder Woman Origin (2017). It is a descriptive research (in terms of ends), documentary and case study (in terms of means) that uses semiotics as a technique for data analysis. It concludes that, although the movie Wonder Woman (2017) is a landmark in the representation of women in cinema by positioning women in the position of a protagonist warrior, it still has the naturalization of certain gender performative behaviors, reinforcing the norms it seeks to subvert.
                                            [1] => O cinema traz novas formas de representação da realidade, e buscar entender como as mulheres são representadas nesse âmbito fornece dados sobre estigmas e estereótipos existentes sobre elas. Com isso em vista e diante da importância do surgimento da primeira personagem super-heroína feminina, a Mulher-Maravilha, esse artigo busca analisar a representação da informação simbólica do gênero feminino presente no filme Mulher-Maravilha Origem (2017). Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva (quanto aos fins), documentária e estudo de caso (quanto aos meios) que usa a semiótica como técnica para análise de dados. Conclui que, apesar de o filme Mulher-Maravilha Origem (2017) ser um marco da representatividade das mulheres no cinema ao posicionar a mulher em posição de guerreira protagonista, ainda possui naturalização de determinados comportamentos performativos de gênero, reforçando as normas que busca subverter.
