                    [0] => Affirmative actions are important public policies to democratize access to education and the production of knowledge. The present study is configured as a documentary, descriptive and exploratory research with a quantitative-qualitative approach. The objective of this work was to map the scientific production of quota students entering the Postgraduate Program in Information Science (PPGCI) at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), at Master´s and Doctoral level, between 2017 and 2019 To form the research corpus, the Lattes Platform and the electronic questionnaire were used with the research subjects in the digital informational environment. As a result, tables and graphs were created to represent the following data: authorship, title, year, among other variables. It was concluded that the thematic plurality found in the research recovered by the study is notorious: Altimetry, Information Architecture, Fake News, Information Management, Digital Preservation, Information Technology, among others. In addition, it is evident that most of the studies retrieved are related to social markers of difference: gender, race, class, among others. The importance of continuous monitoring of the scientific production of quota students in the context of the PPGCI/UFPB, as well as in other Graduate Programs in the area of ​​Information Science, is highlighted.@en
                    [1] => As ações afirmativas são políticas públicas importantes para democratizar o acesso à educação e a produção do conhecimento. O presente estudo configura-se como uma pesquisa documental, descritiva e exploratória com abordagem quanti-qualitativa. Objetivou-se, por meio deste trabalho, mapear as produções científicas de discentes cotistas ingressantes no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciência da Informação (PPGCI) da Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB), a nível de Mestrado e Doutorado, entre 2017 e 2019. Para formar o corpus da pesquisa, utilizou-se a Plataforma Lattes e o questionário eletrônico com as/os sujeitas/os da pesquisa no ambiente informacional digital. Como resultados elaborou-se quadros e gráficos para representação dos seguintes dados: autoria, título, ano, entre outras variáveis. Concluiu-se que é notória a pluralidade temática encontrada nas pesquisas recuperadas pelo estudo: Altimetria, Arquitetura da Informação, Fake News, Gestão da Informação, Preservação Digital, Tecnologia da Informação, entre outras. Além disso, evidencia-se que boa parte dos estudos recuperados se relacionam com os marcadores sociais de diferença: gênero, raça, classe, entre outros. Salienta-se a importância de um acompanhamento contínuo da produção científica de discentes cotistas no contexto do PPGCI/UFPB, bem como nos demais Programas de Pós-Graduação da área de Ciência da Informação.@pt
