Consider and that libraries are spaces that promote the mediation of Information, especially information that allow the various women to promote the struggle for rights and face the various women of violence, a looked at the scenario of community libraries community forms, coo Nascimento belonging to Vila Flapt Cultural, located in the northern region of the city of Londrina, in Paraná. In this sense, it aimed to investigate the interaction of women residing in Londrina or who know a tab with the northern library of the city of information as an objective and possibilities of mediation and culture in this context, having as a question the context relations between genders and information. . For that, a descriptive level research was carried out, with a qualitative approach and a case study as a design. Data collection was carried out through online data analysis through content analysis, especially in the categorical analysis technique. As a result, the main characteristics of the population regarding the socioeconomic, cultural and information profile, direct or indirect contact with gender violence and the sample´s relationship with libraries in general and with the Nascimentodias Community Library were highlighted. We are young women, students, perceived for the most part, just a library of women who may have strange students, contact with sexual violence and have no contact with women by disconnected students, 73% Birth and use very little as libraries as a source of information regarding women´s rights. It was concluded that the researched community needs mediation practices of information and culture directed towards gender issues, especially on violence against women. An institute for the potential of turning this library into a space for sociability among women and for sharing essential information for the fight against violence. In this context, the importance of Librarianship to get closer to social struggles was highlighted.@en
                    [1] => Os estudos de gênero e mediação estão entre as crescentes discussões na Ciência da Informação. Considerando que as bibliotecas são espaços que promovem a mediação da Informação, sobretudo informações que possibilitem às mulheres a luta por direitos e enfrentamento às várias formas de violência, a pesquisa debruçou o olhar para o cenário das bibliotecas comunitárias, tendo como foco a Biblioteca Comunitária Abdias Nascimento pertencente à Vila Cultural Flapt, localizada na região norte da cidade de Londrina, no Paraná. Nesse sentido, teve como objetivo investigar a interação de mulheres residentes na zona norte de Londrina ou que conhecem a Flapt com a biblioteca dessa vila cultural e avaliar as necessidades e possibilidades de mediação da informação e da cultura nesse contexto, tendo como questão norteadora as relações entre gênero e informação. Para tanto, realizou-se uma pesquisa de nível descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa e estudo de caso como delineamento. A coleta de dados se deu por meio de questionário on-line e a análise dos dados se pautou na análise de conteúdo, especialmente na técnica da análise categorial. Como resultado, foram evidenciadas as principais características da população quanto ao perfil socioeconômico, hábitos culturais e de informação, contato direto ou indireto com a violência de gênero e a relação da amostra com as bibliotecas em geral e com a Biblioteca Comunitária Abdias Nascimento. Percebemos ser um grupo de mulheres jovens, estudantes, em sua maioria branca e com pós graduação, apenas uma das participante relatou não ter nenhum contato com a violência de gênero e embora tenham ligação com as bibliotecas por serem estudantes, 73% delas desconhecem a biblioteca comunitária Abdias Nascimento e utilizam muito pouco as bibliotecas como fonte de informação no que tange aos direitos femininos.  Concluiu-se que a comunidade pesquisada necessita de práticas de mediação da informação e da cultura direcionadas para as questões de gênero, em especial sobre a violência contra mulheres. A instituição tem potencial para tornar essa biblioteca um espaço de sociabilidade entre mulheres e de compartilhamento de informações essenciais para as lutas contra a violência. Neste contexto, destacou-se a importância da Biblioteconomia se aproximar mais das lutas sociais.@pt
