                                            [0] => This is a research on the LGBTI+ theme in collections of theses and dissertations from a higher education institution. Brazilian universities have collections and collections with a diversity of themes and subjects treated and, in this sense, it is possible to use Information Science methods to study these collections. In this perspective, the present research arises that aimed to analyze the configuration of the bibliographic collection of dissertations and theses that deal with the LGBTI+ theme present in the collection of the Institutional Repository of the Federal University of Pernambuco (RI-UFPE) available on the ATTENA platform, whose methodological path was configured from a descriptive and bibliographical research, based on bibliographic and documentary studies, with disposition and analysis of qualitative and inductive characteristics, configuring a single case study. The results showed that the themes involve combating prejudice against the community and its members, proposing reflections and projects that challenge the social structures that reinforce and validate the violence and marginalization of this population in society. In addition, it was observed that the themes also bring up issues of social movement, progress in conquests for rights and combating homophobia for lesbians and gays, with a predominance of works on male homosexuality, which contest male performance; to the detriment of women, motherhood and homosexual relationships.
                                            [1] => Trata-se de uma pesquisa sobre a temática LGBTI+ em coleções de teses e dissertações de uma instituição de ensino superior. As universidades brasileiras possuem acervos e coleções com uma diversidade de temas e assuntos tratados e, nesse sentido, é possível utilizar de métodos da Ciência da Informação estudar essas coleções. Nessa perspectiva, surge a presente pesquisa que objetivou analisar a configuração da coleção bibliográfica de teses e dissertações que versam sobre a temática LGBTI+ presente no acervo do Repositório Institucional da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (RI-UFPE) disponibilizado na plataforma ATTENA, cujo percurso metodológico foi configurado a partir de uma pesquisa descritiva e bibliográfica, fundamentada nos estudos bibliográficos e documentais, com disposição e análises de características qualitativas e indutivas, configurando um estudo de caso único. Os resultados demonstraram que as temáticas envolvem o combate ao preconceito à comunidade e seus integrantes, propondo reflexões e projetos que contestam as estruturas socias que reforçam e validam a violência e marginalização dessa população na sociedade. Além disso, observou-se que as temáticas também trazem questões de movimento social, avanço em conquistas por direitos e combate a homofobia para lésbicas e gays, havendo predominância de obras sobre homossexualidade masculina, que a contestam a performance de gênero masculino; em detrimento da feminina, maternidade e relacionamentos homoafetivos.
