                                            [0] => En el presente trabajo se hace una revisión de la Revista Quincenal de Anatomía Patológica y Clínicas Médica y Quirúrgica, publicada en la ciudad de México hacia la última década del siglo XIX. Destaca entre las primeras revistas de investigación médica especializada, editada en este caso por una institución hospitalaria. Fue creada y dirigida por el director del Hospital de San Andrés, el doctor Rafael Lavista, con el propósito de difundir las actividades del Museo de Anatomía Patológica, organizado con fines de investigación y docencia de la medicina en el mismo hospital. Los redactores de este órgano de difusión fueron científicos prominentes en el ámbito de la práctica, la docencia y la investigación médicas, por lo cual resulta de interés conocer su intervención en este esfuerzo editorial que contribuyó a la divulgación del quehacer médico mexicano de fin de siglo.
                                            [1] => This paper is a review of the Revista Quincenal de Anatomía Patológica y Clínicas Médica y  Quirúrgica, published in Mexico city over the last decade of the XIXth Century. This journal  stands out among the firsts specialized medical research periodicals, edited by a hospital institution.  It was created and directed by doctor Rafael Lavista, head of Saint Andrew’s Hospital, in an  attempt to publicize the activities on the Museum of Pathological Anatomy, organized to support  medical research and teaching of that hospital. The editors of this publication were prominent in the  medical research and teaching skills, and thereby it’ interesting to know their involvement in this  editorial effort that contributed to spread the news of Mexican medical task at the end of the Century.
