                    [0] => La Real Imprenta de Niños Expósitos es un hito de la tipografía argentina, no sólo por haber sido la primera imprenta porteña, que sostuvo su monopolio durante más de 30 años. Sus impresos oficiales acompañaron la evolución urbana de Buenos Aires, sus cartillas y catones educaron a los más jóvenes, sus obras de corte litúrgico instruyeron en la fe religiosa, sus tipos festejaron el triunfo de la reconquista durante las invasiones inglesas, y los primeros periódicos contribuyeron a la difusión de las ideas de libertad frente a la Revolución de Mayo de 1810. En el presente texto se fundamentará la importancia de tomar ese modelo tipográfico histórico, y se relatarán las consideraciones y el proceso de diseño aplicados a la reconstrucción de tres conjuntos de caracteres utilizados por dicho taller en el periodo virreinal.@es
                    [1] => The Real Imprenta de Niños Expósitos is a landmark of Argentine typography, not only for being the first Buenos Aires printing house, maintaining its monopoly for more than three decades.Its official printings went along with the urban evolution of Buenos Aires, its booklets forfirst readers educated the youngest, its liturgical works instructed in the religious faith, its types celebrated the triumph of the reconquest during English invasions, and the first newspapers contributed to the dissemination of freedom ideas in front of the 1810 Mayo’s Revolution. This article establishes the relevance of taking that historic and typographical model, and narrates the considerations and the design process applied to the reconstruction of three type groups used by the aforementioned printing workshop during viceregal times.@en
